Wedding moments of 2018!

As the 2018 wedding season draws to a close (one more to go!) this is the time of the year that I like to to reflect on the work that I have created in the past 12 months. 2018 has been a busy one and I have has the pleasure of working with so many gorgeous and lovely families, which honestly makes me feel like the luckiest girl alive to be doing a job that I love and enjoy so much.

This is now my 7th year running my own wedding and portrait photography business and it has been my busiest to date. It hasn’t always been easy and there have been times I wished I could just be satisfied with a normal job but I know that I wouldn’t be!  There are also the moments of sheer joy and excitement when the hard work starts to pay off and you can see progress all of a sudden!

I am delighted to have finally had the courage to open my own photography studio in Belfast, something I have been wanting to do for a long time. I got the keys in July (during the hottest week of the year!) and got to work creating a cosy and welcoming home for my photography business. It is a lovely space to welcome wedding and portrait clients in to, to come get to know me better before the wedding day and I have also enjoyed bringing my couples in to see their wedding album for the first time!

I am now looking to 2019 with much excitement and hoping to build even further upon the dreams that I have for my business, but most importantly I am extremely grateful for all the support from clients who allow me to keep building this business and most importantly to put my creativity to use!
