From as far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a photographer, I have always had a wild obsession with images and the stories that they hold within them.
I would spend hours looking through boxes of old photographs in my granny’s house and piece together our family history and the people who came before me. This is where I learnt the stories about the immigrations, the ones left behind to look after the land, those that were taken too soon and landscape they lived in, all these stories contained in this little box of photographs.
I believe that my photography is a form of story-telling, whether it is a family portrait to mark a child’s first birthday, a family welcoming a new member, a lifestyle portrait session in a family home, or the big event of a wedding day. These are all the most important moments in a family life that deserves to be recorded and remembered properly and kept for future generations to know their story.
I’m a believer in the power of positivity, in family, friendships, the gift of life and love.
I have recently opened the doors to a beautiful little photography studio on the Lisburn Road in Belfast where I create timeless images for family , newborn and children portraits.
The Belfast studio on the Lisburn road is a little home for my photography to create portraits, showcase my wedding photography and also teach photography classes to those wanting to know how to use their camera better and understand the art of photography.
I also have a studio at my home place in Omagh which is available for booking on request.
Get in touch to organise your photography session with me today and let me tell your story.
