#BackToTheFuture with Hi-Tec Hairdressing Salon

On Wednesday this week marks the day that Marty McFly reached the ‘future’ on October 21st 2015 where he found that the population travelled on hover boards and ate pizza pills for dinner!

We are not quite at that stage yet but here are some extremely futuristic hair cuts from a recent shoot for Hi-Tec in Omagh.

Noleen is such an innovative hairdresser and not afraid to try new things! She had a very clear idea on her theme and style. She wanted the look to be very futuristic so we kept clear background and white highlighting. The styles had sharp blunt edges complimented by soft, wavy curls.

The make-up, by Sharon McNamee,  perfectly complimented the futuristic theme with smoky, metallic eyes and striking cheekbones.

And of course thank you to the excellent models who were totally natural in front of the lens as you can clearly see….

Catherine & Blake 5/sep/16 @The Village at Lyons

I apologise in advance for the many images in this blog, but i really couldn’t leave any of them out!

The Village of Lyons outside Dublin perfectly suited the relaxed, rustic, September wedding of Catherine and Blake. From the break of dawn their wedding day was filled with a beautiful crisp Autumn sunshine.

As Catherine comes from Omagh and Blake from Newcastle, they chose Dublin as their base for friends and family to gather and join them on their wedding day. Catherine prepared for her wedding day in the beautiful Dovetail cottage and arrived at the church in a retro red vintage car.

The exchanged vows in a quaint little chapel outside Maynooth while the September sunshine radiated through the church windows. Following the ceremony Blake got in the driving seat and took Catherine to their wedding party in the open-top vintage car!

The guests were treated to miniature bottle of home-made gin made especially by the mother of the groom as their table favours and Catherine decorated a table with special memories of her late mother and father.

Following the meal, the party was kicked of in style as the room was filled with confetti during their first dance before the ceili kicked off!

The entire day was a feast for the eyes, i will let the images speak for themselves!

Mary Rose & Darragh’s wedding, Kee’s Hotel, Donegal.

On a beautiful April day, Mary-Rose married her sweetheart Darragh in the church beside where the couple have made their own little nest in Loughmacrory. The proud parents of 3 gorgeous kids, the couple centred their wedding day around them and each of the 3 kids played an important part in the wedding day.

In the run up to the wedding their was not an idle moment in the McCullagh household as Mary-Rose hand crafted all the wedding invitations and decorations to personalised their vintage theme.

I wish them both a lifetime of happiness and joy (and maybe a few more kids!-they definitely have the talent for it))x

Emma-Kate & Karol’s Island Wedding #weddingphotography

The forecast said rain but on the morning of their wedding the sun came out over Lusty Beg Island and gave the most beautiful setting for their outdoor ceremony.

Emma-kate’s sister Genevieve of Gen Jon Art transformed the reception room into a vintage wonderland, sprinkled with beautiful Spring colours.

Emma-Kate walked down the aisle to a beautiful cover of Led Zepplin’s ‘Thank You’ by local musicians Lisa Murphy and Cian O’Donnell. They exchanged their wedding vows with their friends and family overlooking the gorgeous Lough Erne from the island and the band played the uplifting Primal Scream ‘Moving On Up’ as they walked up the aisle as husband and wife!
