The key to a special wedding (in my opinion) is a calm bride. It is probably easier said than done as I can only imagine the amount of stress the bride must feel on the wedding day but when the day comes it’s important to relax and enjoy it. Yvonne was a dream bride, totally relaxed and full of smiles throughout which makes my job that much easier. It is a cliche, but it’s true that a wedding day does go in so fast that it’s important not to miss a moment of it by stressing but instead relax and enjoy the day.
Yvonne runs her own dress hire business, Dress To Impress, so it was no surprise that her wedding outfit was totally out of this world. Yvonne was very fortunate to have a super-organised sister/bridesmaid Paula who had left no stone unturned in organising Yvonne’s big day, including visiting Buncrana library to print out the reflection prayer as Yvonne waited at the church door!
Keith and Yvonne are blessed with two gorgeous daughters, Caitlin and Leah, who almost stole the show on the happy couple as they both played a big part in the day itself.
Following their ceremony in Buncrana Oratory, the wedding party continued onto the beautiful Ballyliffen Lodge which gave us an amazing backdrop for their wedding images. It’s amazing how much can get done with just under an hour with the bridal party on the beach. I am sure the couple will agree that they have images that they will treasure for a lifetime. Couples often tell me that they enjoy this breather after the ceremony and it gives the couple some time alone on such a busy day.
At Yvonne and Keiths reception I set up a party booth for the first time and I have to say that it’s a great add-on at a wedding for entertaining the guests, although I would not be able to post all of them online!
